Cover Administrator job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised and skilled administrator with excellent communication skills to organise the cover for lessons when teachers are unavailable. The hours could be flexible, but an early start is essential, so from 6am-2pm or 6.30am -2.30pm would be a good guide. We have three full-time internal cover supervisors and rarely have to use agency staff, although that does happen on occasions.

Saracens High School has a family ethos and is committed to supporting staff in this rewarding job, while recognising the stress it puts upon us. With an on-site gym that is free for staff, the opportunity for colleagues to take family days, and access to a staff counsellor, we do all we can to look after our staff. Our strong ties to the wider Saracens organisation means that we base all we do on the shared values of Discipline, Hard Work, Honesty, and Humility and we focus on character development and making memories, as much as outstanding academic attainment.

Saracens High School is a secondary free school that opened in September 2018. We have excellent travel links with local mainline and underground stations, and easy access to the M1, A1, and A41. Parking and EV charging points are available on-site.

The actual salary range is from £23,721 to £27,242 for 37.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks, plus 5.6 weeks' paid holiday). Hours are flexible, but an early start (6/6.30am) is essential. Work can be done from home.
