Salary Level 5, point range 13 to 23, (pro rata, please note salary will be based on 39 weeks starting at (£29,227 FTE) actual salary £25, 105.99.

39 weeks - term time only plus Inset days, 37 hours per week. 8am – 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 3.30pm Friday.

Grove Academy are looking for a positive, skilled Cover Learning Assistant / HLTA who has competent computing skills and will be able to deliver computing lessons across the primary phase to a high standard. This is an exciting time to join Slough’s first all-through school as we expand and strengthen our team in order to secure the best possible outcomes for our pupils.

We can offer enthusiastic children who are eager to learn, a supportive parent community, friendly, supportive colleagues and an extensive programme of professional development for Learning Support Assistants.

We are seeking a Cover Learning Support Assistant / HLTA who is confident with computing and has extensive experience working with children across the primary age range, including those with EAL and SEND. You will ideally also have experience covering whole classes. A good standard of written and spoken English is essential.

The role will involve covering whole classes from Reception to Year Six for computing. While most of the cover will be timetabled, there might be occasions where (in the absence of the teacher and often at short notice) you will be asked to teach other lessons. Flexibility, adaptability and a good knowledge of the national curriculum are essential.
