We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and responsible person to work as a Cover Manager to provide line management to cover supervisors and provide cover for whole classes whilst covering absence of teachers to allow them to carry out professional duties and training.
This successful candidate will be flexible with working hours - starting daily at 7am to ensure cover is in place for the school day.The successful candidate will be required to give instructions for the lesson, as provided by the teacher and keep pupils on task while maintaining good order and following school systems and policies. In addition to responding to unplanned absences, the appointed person will need to manage cover requests for planned absences, liaise with external supply agencies and keep records using school systems.
