We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Cover Manager capable of upholding the highest of standards within their own lessons and able to support the achievement of this across the cover team to support our Ofsted Outstanding (May 2024) provision. There could not be a more exciting time to take on such an impactful role and play a part in positively transforming further the lives of the community served by the school.

The post-holder will be entrusted with maintaining and developing robust systems and processes to effectively manage and communicate the daily cover needs of the academy. They will support the cover team and wider staff body to ensure continuity and consistency for our students through the delivery of lessons that are delivered in line with our internal policies and procedures and underpinned by our strong school values.

The role requires someone with:

  • strong classroom experience;
  • strong IT skills, with knowledge of Bromcom timetabling an advantage
  • an ability to problem solve;
  • excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders, internally and externally;
  • a resilient, determined and dedicated character.

We are looking to appoint a talented Cover Manager with a proven track record within the classroom. This post-holder would be expected to embrace Anthem’s collaborative ethos and transformational approach.

Teaching and learning here is exceptional and supported by an award winning CPD programme, which you will benefit from and contribute to. Staff use cutting edge research into cognitive science to teach responsively and coach each other weekly through our instructional coaching model.

The impeccable behaviour and attitudes toward learning of our students has also recently been recognised by the Specialist School’s and Academies Trust with the presentation of an award in recognition of our transformational climate for learning. Our students are intelligent, well-mannered and highly-motivated.
