What skills and experience we're looking for
We are now looking for a Cover Supervisor at Maiden Erlegh School in Reading.
This role is instrumental in the day-to-day smooth running of our school and its classrooms. Our Cover Supervisors provide classroom-based supervision in the absence of a teacher, ensuring students learning isn’t compromised and that behaviour management practices are understood.
The successful candidate must possess;
- Good communication skills
- The ability to build positive relations with secondary school aged students
- Self-confidence and a positive attitude
- Excellent time management and effective organisational skills.
The successful applicant will be energetic and enthusiastic and enjoy working with 11-16-year-olds. You will enjoy nurturing young people to grow in confidence and flourish personally. You will share our inclusive values of “opportunity, diversity and success for all” and you will have a willingness to develop your own practice in line with our ethos of continuous improvement.
