Cover Supervisor job summary

We are looking to hire a Cover Supervisor who is passionate, dedicated, and thrives on interacting with young people. Your role will involve overseeing classes when teachers are temporarily absent, with assigned work to supervise. We are looking for someone with a desire to support our Academy in ensuring our pupils reach their potential. You will be dynamic, resilient and motivated with a willingness to uphold our high expectations to secure ‘Outstanding Achievement for All’.


We are seeking an individual who is responsible, dependable, and highly organized to join our team. This person should possess enthusiasm and adaptability, as they will be delivering lessons in the absence of our regular subject teachers and providing support for teaching and learning throughout the school.

 

This role offers a diverse and engaging experience, requiring the candidate to have confidence and a commanding presence in educating students across various subjects. Additionally, the successful candidate must be capable of effectively managing behavioral issues within the classroom.

 

Experience in engaging with students in a classroom setting, covering core subjects would be desirable but not essential
