What skills and experience we're looking for
Consistent and effective communication are required together with the ability to use own initiative.
The post entails supervising lessons when teachers are absent and assisting with the development of learning resources for such lessons.
The role is busy and varied, you will work across many subject areas.
Strong personal qualities such as confidence, integrity and presence are sought in addition to good ICT skills.

Arthur Mellows in an Ofsted Outstanding school located in the village of Glinton on the outskirts of Peterborough. The school is very successful and over-subscribed. Behaviour is excellent and students are keen to learn, with 75% of students achieving grade 4 or above in both English and Maths in 2019.
Arthur Mellows is part of The Four Cs Multi Academy Trust (MAT) which was originated in 2016. Two schools, Arthur Mellows Village College and Fulbridge Academy, both outstanding institutions but not natural partners, came together with a common interest in improving the standards for all students in Peterborough. This, combined with the offer of developing and leading two new free Schools in the Primary and Secondary sector, provided a pathway towards meeting that vision. As at September 2019 the MAT consists of 4 schools (1 secondary and 3 primaries).
