Salary: Thurrock Band C Point 13 – 19
37 hours per week – 38 weeks per year term time plus inset days
Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm (With a 30 minute unpaid break)

32 hours and 30 minutes per week – 37 weeks per year – Term time only
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break)
(£20,913.28 – £23,972.35 per annum)

St Clere’s School are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and flexible Cover Supervisor to support cover within the school. A candidate who has a degree or previous relevant experience would be at an advantage. St Clere’s School has previously supported Cover Supervisors to complete their Teaching Training and progress to a teaching role within the school.
Key Duties of the role:
- Supervising classes and supporting pupils
- Delivering cover work set by the class teacher
- Providing feedback to the classroom teacher on the pupil’s progress against lesson plans, conduct of the lesson and keeping pupil related records
- Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures
- Collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher
- Provide additional support to teachers in classrooms, to carry out administrative tasks when not covering a class
- Act as a role model, setting high expectations of conduct and behaviour and adhering to the schools behaviour management policy
