Cover Supervisor job summary
This is a great opportunity for candidates with a desire to teach and supervise classes in subjects across the curriculum, supporting all students to complete the work set to the best of their ability. Candidates will demonstrate empathy, excellent communication skills and work closely with students to ensure they develop self-discipline and adhere to our Code of Conduct. The successful candidate will work with students across all year groups and have an opportunity to run after school clubs.

The successful candidate will:
Be committed to creating a safe learning environment in the absence of the normal class teacher
Ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain a positive and optimistic attitude
Experience of and ability to liaise with teachers to ensure lessons run smoothly in their absence
Ensure that students are on task and complete the work set
An ability to manage the behaviour in the classroom to ensure a constructive learning environment
