Cover Supervisor job summary

A Cover Supervisor needs to be a reliable, enthusiastic, positive and versatile individual. They will be responsible for supervising classes of students when teaching staff are on short-term absences. Work for the lessons will be set and marked by teachers. The successful candidate will benefit from a full induction programme including opportunities to watch and learn from colleagues. The role also provides multiple opportunities to engage in the wider school community and learn more about how schools work.
