What skills and experience we're looking for
Due to the relocation of our current post holder, we are recruiting a Cover Supervisor to join our team at Holcombe Grammar School, providing cover for absent teaching staff. The successful candidate be required to supervise whole classes, facilitating the learning of Key Stage 3 and 4 students, assisting students in undertaking pre-planned learning activities.
Understanding of the educational system and current developments would be beneficial, as would previous experience in providing literacy or numeracy support at Key Stage 3 or 4. The successful candidate will have effective communication skills both orally and in writing, together with excellent organisational, administrative and interpersonal skills.
This is a great opportunity if you are pursuing a career as a Teacher or a Teaching Assistant as this role will provide experience of working in a classroom and interacting with students.
