Cover Supervisor job summary

Permanent, 30 hours per week, term time + 1 week.
Working hours: 8.15am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday
Job share would be considered (full days only)
The Cover Supervisor will provide in-class support to teachers, and supervise whole classes to cover the short term absences of teachers.
The post holder may work within faculties on a long-term basis to improve the continuity of education during teacher absence, and increased understanding and familiarity with the curriculum and the students working within a faculty.
It is desirable that you have cover supervision experience, and that you are able to gain the respect of students and engender positive attitudes to learning.
