What skills and experience we're looking for
We seek an energetic and positive individual who can contribute to the ongoing learning of our students by delivering teaching and learning as planned by the KS3 and KS4 class teacher in a wide variety of subjects, with the aim to ensure ongoing academic progress takes place during the short-term absence of our teaching staff.
Your excellent communication and organisational skills will enable work to be delivered confidently and calmly and you will also resolve immediate problems or emergencies in the classroom (in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures) so should be adaptable and able to multi-task effectively. The Cover Supervisor will also give direction to the Learning Support Assistant within the classroom and be a reliable team member.
Candidates must have good knowledge of ICT programmes such as Microsoft TEAMS, SIMS and Outlook and be able to efficiently complete class registration electronically.
