Trustees are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor for Academy 360 with effect from July. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the new Principal, Mr David Amos, to cover whole classes during the short-term occasional absence of a class teacher. You will have a passion for inspiring young people to achieve and play a key part in ensuring the continuity of students’ learning.

In May 2022, Academy 360 was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted where pupils were recognised as being ‘aspirational and committed to their studies’. Leaders ‘show a strong moral purpose’, have established an ‘ambitious curriculum’ and are ‘inclusive in approach and want the best for all pupils’. Academy 360 holds the prestigious Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) and is recognised as a Centre ofExcellence. The school was recently recommended for Flagship Status acknowledging its exceptional culture of inclusivity.

Academy 360 is an All-Through Academy providing education for pupils aged 4-16 and is a member of the Laidlaw School Trust (LST); LST is a growing family of schools helping to transform the lives of young people through inspirational education. LST invests heavily in staff training and development, offering a wide range of opportunities and benefits to support both career progression and personal wellbeing.

The successful candidate will join a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) with schools from across the North East, including Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
