Cover Supervisor job summary
We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor with enthusiasm, creativity and the ability to motivate students.
The role is primarily to provide high quality supervision during the short-term absence of teaching staff, actively supporting the progress of students and recognising that every lesson is a rich opportunity to learn.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to relate to a wide range of people. They will be able to demonstrate effective classroom management, professionalism and a commitment to the Academy’s core values.

Axe Valley Academy currently has approximately 600 students in Years 7-11. The Academy is located in the East Devon area of the country, in the beautiful market town of Axminster, which is set on the River Axe.
