Cover Supervisor
Term Time only plus 5 inset days (39 weeks)
Working Hours: Mon-Thurs: 08.00 -16.00, Friday 08.00-15.30 (30 mins unpaid lunch)
Hours per week: 37 hours per week
Salary: Scale 6, points 19-22 (£25,935 - £27,318 actual salary per annum)
Purpose:
- To supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the Class Teacher.
- To deliver pre-planned lessons for absent teachers, providing guidance, advice and classroom management.
- Maintain the highest standards of student behaviour at all times.
- Work in conjunction with all staff to support student behaviour, welfare and achievement.
- Ensure that students understand and subscribe to the values and ethos of the school.
- Responsible to: Assistant Principal
