Cover Supervisor job summary

Bideford College would like Cover Supervisors to join their enthusiastic, committed teams of cover staff who work closely with teachers to provide continuity to children’s learning during teacher absences. 

This is a term time only position, on a part time basis with up to 30 hours per week available, contracts available from September 2021. 

A cover supervisor stands in during short-term absences of a teacher. These might be known in advance (for example, where a teacher has a medical appointment or is undergoing professional development) or unexpected (for example, absence due to illness).
