Cover Supervisor

The position involves supervision of the learning (not teaching) of students between the ages of 11 and 16 in any subject area when a teacher is absent from school. You will also be required to help supervise examinations and to assist with administration tasks when necessary.
The position is suitable for an individual who is confident working with young people, flexible, well organised, with strong communication and inter-personal skills.
A training and support programme will be provided for this varied and fulfilling role.
This post is an excellent opportunity for someone considering training to become a teacher. The role may also be suitable for recent graduates, qualified teachers who would like to move to a non-teaching role or those returning to work.
This is a permanent position, term time only, plus INSET Days, for 6 hours per day to include lunch duties, required as soon as possible.
Salary is Grade 4 Point 5-6 currently £19312-£19698 p.a. pro rata
(Approx. £13249 - £13514 p.a.)
