37 hours, 8am-4pm Monday to Friday
Term Time plus Inset Days
Grade 6 (SCP12-18)
Actual salary: £24,899 - £27,458
(£28,598 - £31,537 FTE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support our learning provision here at Castleford Academy and to provide support where necessary across the Trust.
The role will also provide support to a specialist department which will be dependent on the successful candidate.
You will be/have:
A proactive individual who is able to deliver engaging and interesting lessons suitable to meet the needs of all pupils.
Required to provide effective class room cover in the absence of the main class teacher.
Able to effectively manage behaviour within the classroom.
Able to assist in the overall raising of pupil standards and achievements, through raising pupils’ esteem, expectations and aspirations both during lessons and extra curricular.
Able to inspire pupils of all abilities within a range of subjects to achieve their highest potential across Key Stage 3/4.
The ability to deal with situations in a calm and professional manner.
Proven organisational, time management and problem solving skills.
Passionate about the education of young people.
Experience of working with children with varying ages.
Flexible and adaptable with a ‘can do’ attitude.
