What skills and experience we're looking for
Due to the promotion of the current post holder, we seek to appoint a Cover Supervisor for 37 hours per week on a term time only basis to George Pindar School.
This role will provide short term cover for absent teaching staff, allocating pre-prepared work, keeping pupils on task and managing the behaviour of pupils during class. The role does not involve planning, preparing, delivering lessons or assessing and reporting on the development progress and attainment of pupils. This post is suitable for Early Career Teachers, or those wishing to remain in Education but step back from a Teaching role.
