What skills and experience we're looking for
Essential requirements:
- Very good numeracy/literacy skills – GCSE Grade C Maths and English or equivalent
- Meets Higher Level Teaching Assistant standards or equivalent qualification or experience
- Can work at NVQ 4 level overall
- Effective behaviour management strategies
- Experience of working with children of primary school age
Key Skills:
- Working knowledge and experience of implementing National Curriculum and other relevant learning programmes
- Enthusiastic, hard-working, energetic
- Able to build meaningful relationships with both children and staff
- Work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.
