Cover Supervisor job summary

Helston Community College, part of the Southerly Point Co-operative Multi-Academy Trust, are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to provide effective cover supervision in a range of classes and subjects in response to unforeseen short-term teacher absence.

Applicants should be well educated and ideally have had experience of supervising young people in the 11-18 age range. The successful applicant must have good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as excellent organisational skills, and should be able to work independently using their own initiative and as a part of a team.

The post is for 37 hours per week over 29 working weeks [Term Time incl. INSETs], and the salary will be Scale 5 [up to £16,452 pa pro rata - dependent on experience].
