What skills and experience we're looking for
Wheatfield Primary School is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and positive Cover Supervisor to join our hard working team.
Your opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will cover release time in classes across the school under the direction of the class teacher. This will include delivering a lesson, which has already been planned by the class teacher and then marking the children’s books at the end of the lesson.
What we are looking for
- Someone with high expectations who is committed to raising the achievement of all children and can participate in the implementation of policies, plans, targets and practices.
- The ability to use a variety of strategies to engage and support children in their learning and implement the School Development Plan priorities using teamwork.
- An excellent role model to children, colleagues and parents, exemplifying our core principle of kindness.
- A positive professional actively supportive of the ethos, vision and values of the school.
- Achieved or working towards an HLTA qualification
- Outdoor Learning Practitioner - experience in outdoor learning would be of benefit.

Pay Scale: Specialist 1 £20,404 (FTE £26,272)
