Cover Supervisor job summary
As a Cover Supervisor you will work under the guidance of the Senior Leadership Team and Heads of Department to deliver class work to students in the absence of their classroom teacher. To be successful in this you will need to feel confident that with training you will be able to direct young people in their activities, have a presence in the classroom, maintain discipline and create a calm and productive environment for learning.
About You
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level 4 (or equivalent) in both English and Maths, be IT literate, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to work both as part of a team and independently. The successful candidate will also have knowledge of safeguarding and child protection and be able to establish good professional relationships.
