Working pattern: Full time, term time: Full time 37 hours per week, term time only. Option to request part time for the right candidate, with a minimum of 3 days per week. If requesting part time, please indicate this on your application.
Contract type: Permanent
Full-time equivalent salary: £25,979 - £28,770 per annum [pro rata actual salary £21,965 - £24,325 per annum]
Pay scale: NJC 11-17

What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and well organised Cover Supervisor to provide high quality lesson cover.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will take on the responsibility of groups or classes in the absence of their teacher, and assist in preparing the learning environment and materials to facilitate the effective delivery of lessons across all school subject areas. The role will also provide short term cover when required for exam invigilation, and supervision on educational visits.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a school setting, excellent inter personal skills, and the ability to contribute positively to student learning. This is an exciting opportunity for a positive, enthusiastic and committed individual.
