What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will have a good standard of general education and experience of working with young people (voluntary or paid). Previous experience of working in education would be desirable but is not essential. You should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to react confidently and positively to a variety of situations.

If you are confident, a good communicator and enjoy working with young people, you could make an excellent classroom Cover Supervisor.
Following a period of induction, you will supervise classes in a teacher’s absence, to maintain good order and keep students on task for the work set by the teacher. You will also supervise students during part of break/lunchtimes and assist with admin tasks and exam invigilation, as required.
