Cover Supervisor job summary
We wish to appoint an outstanding Cover Supervisor to our school.
The post holder will oversee classes as they undertake work set in the short-term absence of the class teacher. In periods where cover is not required, the successful candidate will support in the classroom or elsewhere in the school as directed.
We are keen to fill this post with an enthusiastic, creative individual who can relate positively to children. The post will offer the opportunity to work across the Key Stages in the secondary phase. The position is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to pursue a career in education.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside school staff, be trained in supervisory skills and to develop in the management of school classes. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a flexible and reliable approach. You will have experience of working in a school environment with children and have a commitment to their welfare, education and development. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students.
