What skills and experience we're looking for

• Have Maths and English GCSE grade A* - C or Numeracy and Literacy Level 2 on the NQF or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexibly within a team and motivate students.
• Excellent and effective communication skills.
• Supervise the work of whole classes set by their class/subject teacher in accordance with school policy
• • Answer pupil queries about process and procedures relating to the lesson and the work set.
  • Manage the behaviour of pupils to ensure a constructive learning environment.
  • Assist with the support and delivery of learning in ‘Return to Learn’ e.g. personal assistance to Teachers, supporting Teachers in the classroom and behaviour intervention work where needed.

The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to work at Priory Community School – An Academy in Weston-super-Mare. The successful candidate must be passionate about helping young people of all abilities and backgrounds realise their potential in different subjects. The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively in a team to support students learning and will need to have strong attention to detail. This is a very exciting opportunity to join our fantastic highly skilled cover team based in Weston-super-Mare.

This role is working 30 hours per week, term time only. This is a permanent position.
