Cover Supervisor job summary

Creating tomorrow’s citizens today

We are seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our supportive and creative team, dedicated to the teaching and learning of all students. We are able to offer internal training opportunities so previous experience is not essential. Cover Supervisors are required to facilitate lessons where teaching staff have set work for students.

This role will offer you the ideal opportunity to develop your classroom management skills and experience and you will also have the opportunity to get involved in many other aspects of school life. If you are thinking about becoming a teacher, this role will give you invaluable skills and we will fully support your development.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be flexible, resilient and will be comfortable liaising with teaching staff, support staff and students in a professional and supportive manner.

The role requires someone who has patience, energy, enthusiasm and imagination, who wants to make a positive contribution to the lives of our young people. Previous experience working with 11-18 year olds within a school environment would be desirable, but not essential.
