About the role: We are seeking to appoint an experienced, assured and dependable Cover Supervisorresponsible for delivering lesson material and supervising whole classes when teaching staff are absent.
Cover work will be supplied wherever possible for you to use as a basis for the lessons and we will also determine your subject specialisms with you as a preference. Excellent interpersonal skills are required for this post as our successful candidate needs to demonstrate that they can build good rapport with staff and students alike. This post is ideal for graduates with an interest in developing a career in teaching as the experience you can gain from this is first-hand, and also those who may have had experience within the education sector beforehand. In addition, you would also help supervise our Homework Club and may be asked to support detentions or provide other administrative support as required.
This is a Term Time only role, 37hours per week offers an actual salary of£15,934 - £18,384 per annum (£19,264 - £22,129 full time equivalent), commensurate with experience.
