We have an exciting opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to join our friendly supportive teams within The Kennet Federation. We have lovely, hardworking teams of staff and delightful pupils who deserve the best people working with them.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be experienced in supervising pupils carry out pre-planned work when teaching staff are off work for a certain period (for example, sickness or paternity leave). The main job of a Cover Supervisor is to manage a classroom and behaviour while ensuring that pupils complete the work which has been set.

The successful candidate will:

  • Supervise the children and ensure they complete set tasks
  • Manage behaviour
  • Assist children
  • Follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
  • Collect the completed work and hand it to the Team Leader
  • Provide feedback on the lessons
