Cover Supervisor

Full time (37 hours), term-time only + 5 days (39 weeks)

Level 4,  actual salary £20072 per annum

We are seeking  individuals with high energy levels and good inter-personal skills to work with our students to support their learning.

Working alongside two other cover supervisors you will play a fundamental role in supporting a mix of planned and reactive cover requirements across a full range of subject areas in key stage 3 and 4.  The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and professional with the ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour, introduce and support cover work and ensure lesson outcomes are achieved in the absence of the classroom teacher.  The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an organised and positive approach to encourage students learning.

Stopsley High School is an 11-16 mixed Comprehensive School and Community College situated in a quiet area on the Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire border with convenient access to Luton Airport, the M1 and mainline rail links to London.
