Cover Teacher - 2 Days Per Week job summary

Local Academy Councillors seek to appoint a dedicated practitioner to join our outstanding school from September 2025. The successful candidate will be required to teach one day per week in our 3-Year-Old Nursery and one day in either Key Stage 1 or 2.

Candidates must be:

Dedicated to working in close partnership with children, staff and parents within our caring church school and local community.

Willing and able to support the Christian ethos of the school.

A creative and enthusiastic teacher.

Flexible and willing to show initiative.

Organised and prepared to work hard to find the answers to challenges.

An effective classroom practitioner with high expectations of achievement and behaviour.

Highly motivated and be able to demonstrate recent successful planning and delivery of teaching, learning and assessment in the primary phase (Early Years – KS2.)
