(Cover Supervisor Full time salary range C £19,265.00-£20,290.00 p.a.
Actual salary range C £15,587.00-£16,417.00/Cover Teacher FTE dependent on experience)

We are looking to appoint a Cover Teacher or Cover Supervisor at this over-subscribed school. The successful applicant will be an energetic, organised and confident individual with excellent communication skills and a good level of education. (GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths and ideally A level qualifications and a Degree – this is required for a Cover Teacher role). The Cover Teacher role is particularly suited to someone who would like a reduced teaching allocation, with the remainder of the week being in a cover role. The Cover Supervisor position is ideal for someone wishing to enter the teaching profession, having gained a quality experience in this school.
We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with a background in Humanities, Maths or Science, although this is not a requirement.
Candidates will need to have some experience of working with young people preferably in an educational setting, and have a real interest in supporting them to achieve their potential.
Duties will include supervising students while they complete set work either in groups or classes as well as supporting teachers in the classroom. A Cover Teacher role would also involve planning and marking, as part of the work for timetabled classes.
