Penistone Grammar School has an exciting vacancy for a permanent Curriculum Area Leader for Performing Arts. We are looking for someone with the enthusiasm and drive to join this department, contributing to its well-established tradition of success.

You will be a Teacher of Performing Arts with leadership experience who has the determination and talent to make a difference in the life of each and every student you teach; a teacher who shares our vision and can inspire our young people to achieve more than they believe is possible. The successful candidate will have previous experience of leading a small team and a proven track record at KS4/5 or will be a Second in Department excited at the opportunity of further developing their career.

We are a vibrant, oversubscribed 11 to 18 comprehensive school with excellent GCSE results across all subjects; we are recognised as one of the highest performing schools in the region in terms of Key Stage 4 outcomes.
