What skills and experience we're looking for
The school wishes to appoint a talented individual to lead this important area of Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 provision, further developing high quality teaching and learning that inspires students.
The successful candidate should be able to drive curriculum development, from a clear vision, through collaborative planning, to high outcomes and positive engagement. Current experience of the BTEC level 2 and 3 H&S course should position a candidate to lead this department in the next phase of its growth.
Ideally, the successful candidate will also make an important contribution to the teaching of Physical Education.
