Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and inspirational teacher to join and lead a supportive, hardworking and forward thinking team. This role is ideal for an experienced curriculum leader or a teacher who is looking to take their first steps into leadership.
The role will primarily include teaching Business Studies and ICT to all abilities, providing you with the opportunity to build and develop your experience across KS3 to KS5. Your teaching timetable will be balanced with the responsibility of leading the team to effectively deliver the Business/ICT curriculum, supporting and enabling every student to achieve their potential.

Qualified Teacher Status

Essential skills and experience

Outstanding practitioner
To have successfully taught Business Studies or Information Technology across the age and ability range, up to and including AS/A2
Knowledge of active teaching and learning styles
Competence in monitoring and assessing students’ progress
The ability to use a range of classroom management and teaching strategies
Effective Interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
Teamwork and management
Sense of humour
Enthusiasm
