This post offers an excellent opportunity to lead Nunnery Wood’s outstanding and high-achieving English department. English staff are forward thinking, collaborative and ambitious for all students within our broad ability range. Results have been superb over a considerable period of time and both progress and attainment scores are significantly above national averages. The school’s most recent Ofsted report praised, “pupils’ excellent conduct around the academy and the respect they show teachers and each other,” also describing their personal development as, “outstanding”. Progress 8 has been in the “well above average” category for several years and we performed equally well against other measures.
