Curriculum Leader for History job summary

We are looking for an outstanding History teacher with a proven track record of leading a History Department. You will support our strong History department of experienced and committed teachers.

The school will seek to invest in the successful candidate, a CPD plan will be designed to ensure career progression in line with aspirations and personal goals.

The successful candidate will lead a dedicated and well-established team and will have the ability to teach Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.

You will be a person who thrives on challenge, enjoys working with young people and is passionate about seeing them achieve.

The person we are looking for should be:

• passionate and enthusiastic about learning and about their own specialist subject
• an inspirational, creative and highly effective teacher
• driven to ensure excellent progress for all, especially disadvantaged learners
• a hardworking, imaginative thinker who has excellent organisational and time management skills
