We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic, skilled and creative leader who is passionate about Human Sciences to be our Curriculum Leader for Human Understanding.
Our Human Understanding Faculty encompasses Sociology, Psychology, Government and Politics, Health & Social Care, Child Development and PSHE. You will be able to teach at least one of these subjects at both KS4 and KS5.
You will be responsible for the development and management of this popular and forward thinking faculty. You will need strong leadership and interpersonal skills that promote high quality teaching. We are looking for a Curriculum Leader who will embrace our drive to ensure that Social Sciences are at the core of our curriculum and have students' progress at the forefront of their teaching.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Faculty’s staff, resources and budget and leading teaching and learning and behaviour for learning within the area. The Curriculum Leader will work closely with their Subject Leaders, as well as supporting and working with other CL colleagues and the School Leadership Team.
