What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors wish to appoint an innovative, enthusiastic and highly qualified teacher to lead on teaching within the Mathematics Department. They will have a clear vision for mathematics within the new National Curriculum and be able to inspire students. The Mathematics Department is a very creative department, looking to further develop ways of enthusing students about mathematics as a subject. The successful candidate will be able to teach across all year groups; A level Mathematics is the most popular choice post 16, with multiple groups in both Year 12 and Year 13. The school also has Further Mathematics and Core Mathematics groups at KS5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be important in this leadership role.
