Curriculum Leader for MFL job summary
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly skilled Curriculum Leader of MFL to join our Academy and Sixth Form from January 2023.
You will be required to build on existing strengths within the department and drive improvements to ensure that excellent teaching leads to sustained success.
We are looking for an outstanding practitioner who can enthuse, engage, empower and inspire both students and staff to achieve to the best of their ability. You will have demonstrable experience of leading others to deliver successful outcomes or be an aspiring middle leader with proven experience in your field.
If you have the vision and skills to deliver inspirational teaching whilst having the focus and drive to ensure successful outcomes are reached, we would like to hear from you.
The appointed person will promote excellent behaviour and conduct, be committed to safeguarding and student welfare, and should also be keen to engage in the wider life of our community school.

Holderness Academy & Sixth Form College is a large comprehensive school with 1108 students on roll, including 105 in the Sixth Form. The Academy is situated in the East Riding of Yorkshire and located in the small village of Preston. It sits six miles to the East of Hull and one mile from the town of Hedon.

On 1 October 2018, Holderness Academy and Sixth Form College (formerly South Holderness Technology College) joined a multi academy trust, ‘The Consortium Academy Trust’ (TCAT). TCAT currently comprises of six secondary schools and three primary schools.
The Trust was developed to provide a platform to deliver high quality educational experiences for the children and young people within the communities it serves, to enhance and improve their life chances and enable them to make substantial and sustained contributions to society.
