Curriculum Leader of Computer Science & Information Communication Technology job summary

We are looking to appoint a full-time Curriculum Leader for Computer Science and ICT to start in September 2020. You would be leading a small team of specialists who teach Computing and ICT to Years 7 and 8 (Key Stage 3). At Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11) the department is very popular and delivers both GCSE Computer Science and the OCR National qualification in Creative iMedia.

We are looking for someone who will lead the development of the department and bring the best out of the staff team as well as raising the achievement and aspirations of our students.

Testwood is a successful school with a reputation for caring about each individual student - the motto "Every child, every step, every day" is one which reflects the attention given to each student and their needs.

You would teach and work with young people who are keen to do well, although sometimes they do need a little push along the way.
