The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher of computing - articulate, inspiring, confident and supportive with effective people management skills. The candidate will have energy and drive in abundance with the ability and determination to propel student outcomes and to take digital learning at Carleton High School forwards to the next level.

Carleton High School is an 11-16 school in Pontefract with over 1000 students on roll which has been on a journey of significant improvement in recent years. This has resulted in a Good Ofsted judgement (2019), record GCSE results, recognition as the most improved school in the North of England and in the top 3 schools within the Local Authority for student progress in 2022.
