The Queen Elizabeth Academy are seeking an outstanding and inspirational teacher as a Curriculum Leader in Computer Science. This is an ideal role for an aspiring Middle Leader or an experienced Middle Leader who wants to make a difference in a “Good” school
Computer Science has recently been developing as a department, with improving outcomes. The successful candidate will be fully developed professionally in order for them to be an effective Middle Leader, with strong opportunities for attaining professional qualifications. The post has arisen out of the previous Curriculum Leader being promoted.

The Queen Elizabeth Academy is an 11-16 mixed academy based in Atherstone with approximately 660 pupils on roll. Following our Ofsted inspection in May 2017, we were shown to be “Good with Outstanding features”, a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students. In November 2016, as part of the Priority School Building Programme, we moved into brand new premises that have given us access to fantastic new facilities, which really set us apart in the locality.
We are a forward-thinking school, always looking for areas to develop and improve as well as being very open to new ideas; we feel this is best way to ensure consistent development and attainment of our students
