What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, talented and innovative Curriculum Leader for our Design and Technology Department. Applications are welcomed from both aspirant and existing Leaders of Design and Technology seeking a fresh challenge in a vibrant and thriving department and a school in which Design and Technology is valued. This vacancy offers an opportunity to join an experienced team and shape the future of the design technology provision.
The subjects currently offered at Key Stage 4 by the Design and Technology department include Health and Social Care, Hospitality and Catering, Child Development and Design Technology, with a specialism in timbers. We are always keen to develop and diversify our curriculum and would welcome applications from teachers keen and able to offer these, or other subjects which would enrich the experience of our pupils at either Key Stage for example engineering, graphics, textiles or electronics.
The successful candidate will be committed to developing and leading the curriculum area to ensure high quality teaching and learning to inspire and secure the best outcomes for our pupils.
