The department aims to immerse students in a world of design and creative technology, allowing students in KS3 to have access to a wide range of disciplines. This prepares our students to be successful in KS4 and again, have the option to choose the course that is right for them.
Further details about the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Curriculum Leader of DT at The King’s School. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategically leading the direction and development of the curriculum area in accordance with the aims and objectives of the school. They will raise standards of student attainment and achievement within the curriculum area by ensuring the provision of an appropriately relevant and differentiated curriculum for all students, and by developing and enhancing the teaching practice of others.
This is a 1 FTE, permanent contract, with a TLR2a payment assigned and a recruitment and retention allowance for an outstanding candidate.
