MS / UPS plus TLR £4,784.00 per annum

We are transforming lives at TQEA and are looking for an inspirational leader to join us.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and forward-thinking Curriculum Leader to head our ambitious Drama faculty. At TQEA Drama plays a distinctive role in the curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. It is a subject with a popular extended curriculum offer with Drama and Musical Theatre attracting the most interest amongst students each week. The academy has a proud tradition of delivering a high-quality school performance each year. Students and parents still reminisce fondly about the wonderful Matilda performance that was delivered in Spring 2020. Now that we are emerging out of the pandemic we are excited to be able to offer face to face performances, but were delighted to record a remote performance last Christmas!!!
As Curriculum Leader, you will have well developed leadership skills to build upon the department’s current achievements as well as having the ability to think outside the box to ensure students are eager to learn. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner with a proven track record enthusing and engaging students.

The Queen Elizabeth Academy is an 11-16 mixed academy based in Atherstone with approximately 660 pupils on roll. Following our Ofsted inspection in May 2017, we were shown to be “Good with Outstanding features”, a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students. In November 2016, as part of the Priority School Building Programme, we moved into brand new premises that have given us access to fantastic new facilities, which really set us apart in the locality.
