Our opportunity
We are looking to appoint into the important post of Curriculum Leader for Maths – with the additional line management of ICT. You will be a part of the school’s broader Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and attend SLT meetings.
Aspiring or existing leaders of Maths are welcomed – what goes without saying is that we will support you, develop you and above all welcome you into our aspirational school.
A smaller school provides you with an opportunity to really get you know each and every student, and an integral part of the role will be draw upon and lead Maths across the school. This in term will develop you as a future Senior Leader as you will be a key strategic leader in school, and we will value your input in our ongoing strategic direction.
In the last three years over 20 staff have been put through a national professional qualification and departments benefits from Lead Practitioners, core subject specialists and involvement through the Ebor Hope Teaching Alliance.
Our area is also the Chartered College of Teaching hub for the C Teach programme.

• A proven record of raising and maintaining outcomes in Maths
• Vision, drive and flare as you join our supportive and forward thinking staff team
• The ability to consult, devise, communicate, implement, monitor and evaluate improvement with a relentless focus on student outcomes.
• Relevant qualifications and a record of professional development (both formal and through appropriate experience) to meet the challenge of the job specification.
• A genuine commitment to making a positive contribution to the school and the Ebor Academy Trust.
