Curriculum Leader of Science job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious practitioner to join a constantly improving and highly aspirational Science department in a ‘Good’ school.

We seek to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated leader of Science to join a dynamic and forward-thinking leadership team. Applications from highly ambitious teacher of Science and experienced middle leaders seeking further experience as well as challenge are welcomed. Appointing a leader who believes in the culture of the Academy, whilst showing the right leadership skills and personal values is most important.

The opportunity to be a Curriculum leader at Tudor Grange Samworth Academy is an exciting one. This senior role within the Academy presents the opportunity for a leader to develop their leadership skills in preparation for future leadership positions, including across Tudor Grange Academies Trust.

The chosen candidate will need to:

  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner
  • Have the ability to lead, motivate and inspire staff and pupils
  • Have a drive for continuing professional development
  • Have experience of managing change and development
  • Have high expectations of all pupils
